Due to our continuing growth, Win and Winnow currently has the urgent need for freelance translators and editors from English into Portuguese (Brazilian and European).

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Applied Linguistics, Translation and/or equivalent experience.
• Must have Portuguese as mother tongue.
• Highly motivated with a mix of technical, organizational and communication skills to provide technical translations.
• Three verifiable references.
• Self-motivated and independent with a strong work ethic.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and desktop publishing tools.
• Knowledge of Translation Memory Tools (Trados, SDLX and Catalyst are essential).
• Familiarity with general IT, medical, technical and legal terminology.
