Memberships & Affiliations

The American Translators Association, ATA, was founded in 1959 and is the largest professional association of translators and interpreters in the United States.  It today includes more than 11,000 members from 90 countries.  As a member, Win & Winnow attends conferences and seminars, receives information and stays in close contact with the translating world.

GALA - the Globalization and Localization Association - is a nonprofit international organization comprised of members specializing in language services and technologies.  Comprised of more than 250 companies from 45 countries, GALA encourages local communication as a vital component of global strategy.

Translators without Borders works to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and information internationally. The organization works to meet the linguistic needs of various NGOs in their endeavors. Win & Winnow is a member and donor of Translators without Borders and regularly performs voluntary test corrections in English and Spanish.
