Argentina-based En>Sp Editors

Due to our continuing growth, we currently have an urgent need for experienced editors to edit and proof translations from English into Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Editing of written texts, multimedia and website content from English to Spanish.
• Following of any guidelines set forth with regards to translation and editing.
• Delivery of QA reports and edited translation files.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Applied Linguistics, Translation and/or equivalent experience.
• Must have Spanish as mother tongue and be based in Argentina.
• Highly motivated with a mix of technical, organizational, and communication skills necessary for work with technical translations.
• Knowledgeable in and sensitive to multilingual and multicultural issues.
• Self-motivated and independent with a strong work ethic.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and desktop publishing tools.
• Knowledge of Translation Memory Tools - desktop publishing software a plus.
• Familiarity with general IT, medical, technical and legal terminology.
